PM GIGS is W. Patrick McGannon, founder and president.

Pat’s career in music began at age four where he learned to play the piano in formal, classical music lessons. After discovering Led Zeppelin in high school, he quickly ditched the lessons and formed his first rock band in 1981. He currently manages the Dino Martinis and is a founding band member since 1994. The group has released three cd’s, three award-winning music videos and performed close to 1000 shows. He has toured across Canada, the United States, Europe and Japan. The band is still performs regularly at events locally and around the world. Pat also performs in a dueling pianos show in the Calgary area and for private events in the region.

At the forefront of his passion for music is his passion for business. Pat worked in the corporate sector as a purchaser and contracts manager for some of the largest companies in Canada. He has a Business Administration Diploma specializing in purchasing and was the scholarship winner in his final year in college. He also attained the Certified Professional Purchasers Designation in 1994.

PM GIGS has been a perennial nominee at the Western Canadian Music Awards for Booking Agency of the Year, nominated every year since 2002. Pat has also received several nominations for Talent Buyer of the Year and recently won Meeting Planner International “Supplier of the Year” for 2009 for the Calgary Chapter.

Pat has been putting his diverse industry and business expertise to work servicing clients and musicians all over Canada since 2001.
